  1. I Corinthians 16 : 13 Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men (and women) of courage; be strong.

This was the last verse I read for my final devotions three years ago at PBM before leaving for home. This has become my life verse ever sense. I will explain more on how this verse has impacted me as time permits this week.

I am so looking forward this trip. Thanks you to all who are praying for me now and that will be praying for me in the days to come. A special shout out to my prayer partner Pastor Brian thanks for your support. I am so excited to how God will use me and the team week. We serve an awesome GOD. Blessings

  2. Praying for you and the team as you encounter many challenges in the week, but may the Spirit lead all your efforts as you serve the people of the villages and may you all also be blessed this week.

  3. Rod, I can’t tell you how happy I am that you are on this team! You are such a blessing to us. Thank you for your servant leadership and willingness to help in every situation. Keep Kevin and Al in line…that may be difficult but if you must…put them in time-out! 😉 Praying for safety in travel, good health for you and the team and for many changed lives! Your life verse is perfect and I look forward to reading more about how God uses you and your gifts to further His kingdom.

  7. Wow it Saturday already. Yesterday was amazing. We serve a great and awesome God. We seen the Holy Spirit at work in a might way. But we seen the satan at work as well.
I don’t have a lot of time so keep praying for the team and me. Today is the first med clinic so pray that more lives will be changed.

  8. Hi Rod,

Today as you go to a remote village by the coast I pray for you and your vehicles protection. May God not only be on your right side but also on your left as you love on the adults and kids in Guatamala! I pray you are staying healthy and that God is richly blessing your time there.

    Blessings,

  9. Hi Rod, I hope I’m finally able to get through. All week on the I-Pad the devil has frustrated my efforts & I’m now on my laptop. We’ve been praying for you all week long & it has been so great to follow your blog You & your team with the help of the Holy Spirit have been blessed abundantly. The grip the devil has had is broken on the lives of those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord & Savior and that, Praise God, is forever. What a wonderful feeling you must have to know that the Lord has used you to help accomplish His purposes in the lives of his chosen ones. I hope your back has not been too sore as you worked on the houses. The joy in the faces of these people has got to be rewarding as they now have a shelter for their family. I hope you & the team have a safe trip home and we are anxious to hear much more about your week. Love You, Dad

  11. Happy Father’s Day,
Thank you for being willing to serve others in such a glorious way! You are being used by God to show the team and the people in Guatemala how very much He loves them. Praising God that the first med clinic went so well. Praying that tonight does the same or even greater. Praying for a hedge of protection around you and the team.
