Dear friends and family,
This next week I will be in Guatemala building houses, handing out medicine, and changing lives for Christ. There are several reasons that I wanted to travel to Guatemala on this mission trip. I want to be able to grow closer to those people in my group and grow with them. I also want to meet new people and try to change their lives through Christ and to hopefully make an impact on their lives. Mostly, I want to grow closer to Christ.

I have been in Guatemala for two days now. We have already finished building our houses and tomorrow is dedication day. My group and I have been building for a family of six. One of their little girls, Rosy, who is seven, has become close friends with me despite the language barrier. I have been so blessed to go on this trip and I would like to thank you for your support in prayers.

I am having such a great time in Guatemala! Today we dedicated the houses to the Lord, there was a lot of crying. And I am happy to say that each member of the family accepted Jesus as their savior!
